Sakrament SpeechBOX is a microelectronic device that is designed for demonstration purposes of an embedded Sakrament TTS engine. Sakrament TTS is ideal for a wide range of electronic devices from automotive to hand-held computers and consumer electronics.
In addition, it is the right choice for manufacturers to enhance their applications with text-to-speech technology and for system integrators to add value to their offerings.
The system combines advanced linguistic processing with actual voice samples to produce synthesized speech that has highly accurate human emphasis, pronunciation, and intonation.

Technical overview:
Board: size 60õ60mm with fastening holes in corners and double-sided SMD assembly;
Power: +5 V supply via power module or any control device to 2 pins power connector;
Input: symbols ASCII (coding Windows-1251) transmitted from any device such as personal computer, on-board computer or microprocessor devise;
Output:
- analog signal via audio connector to any acoustic system/headphones;
- PCM-signal (interface RS232: speed 9600, 1 stop bit, without parity);
RAM chip ÅEPROM with capacity 2 Ìb contains:
- text-to-speech software;
- control software;
- allophones data base for two voices (ability to switch voices in real time via commands);
- dditional 600 Kb reserved for custom data storing or any other customer needs.
SpeechBOX can use component parts marked as industrial for application in outdoor conditions: temperature - 40 äî 75 Ñ, humidity 20 - 90%, vibration according to standard 1.1.

Sakrament announces the release of Sakrament Personal Voice Master 2.0, a program which creates an individual model of your own voice by dictating a set of words. The voice can be used in all other Sakrament TTS products.
