This program is developed with the purpose of demonstrating the capabilities of speech recognition technology.
The software is intended for voice input of figures and mathematical operations into the standard Windows calculator. The program uses a module of isolated Russian words recognition, compatible with Microsoft Speech API.
The Calculator with voice input has the following features:
entering figures from 0 to 9, as well as 17 basic commands, standard for MS Calculator, with the help of voice;
making adjustments of the system for the voice of each unique user;
entering synonyms for the figures and commands being used;
looking through the history of executed commands.
The module of Russian isolated words recognition may be used by other Windows applications to enable voice input of commands and numerical information.
Minimal system requirements:
Intel Pentium 233 MHz (or similar);
64Mb RAM;
5Mb disk space;
16-bit a sound card with a qualitative microphone;
Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP.
